Weekend Adventures: Labor Day

We stayed in Raleigh for the weekend. There’s something about traveling on weekends that we are “supposed to” be traveling on that puts me off. I dislike traffic and crowds enough to hole up for the weekend watching Little House on the Prairie and be completely content without any inkling of FOMO.

However, we did go exploring at a nearby waterfall and the farmer’s market. Β Here are a few shots from a slow, restorative weekend at home.

  1. This is how you weekend. I love the waterfall photos! So pretty. I’d rather spend a holiday weekend holed up as well. I hate traffic since it gives me awful anxiety, so staying in and exploring nearby is better for meh.

  2. Looks like an awesome weekend 😊 waterfall & farmers market? Count me in lol! Im with you on the crowds and busy travel, such a pain! Glad you made the most of it ❀

  3. I agree 100%! Travelling on the days you’re supposed to sucks. I’m a teacher though sooooo most of the time it’s my only option – until summer when I can just go off to someplace where it isn’t vacation time. πŸ™‚

Your pictures are gorgeous! The waterfall one – wow!
