Technical Difficulties

I have a MacBook that I love dearly. It’s done great things with/for me in the last six years.

Yes, I said six.

I saw the signs of this debacle approaching over the past few weeks. Slower than usual, despite upgraded RAM. Spinning ball of loading doom until I finally give up and reboot. Having trouble keeping one browser window (with only one or two tabs open, mind you) open at a given time without completely stalling. Like I said, I knew this was coming. Thankfully, I have everything stored on an external drive.

I think my beloved compy has bitten le dust.

Understandably, this is a freelancer’s nightmare. I can still work from my iPad, but it’s definitely not as easy. So here’s to working this out or getting a new MacBook soon!

Yours in botched technology,

~ Meg

    • Because I’d backed it up and saved stuff on Dropbox, I lost very little. A few cell phone pictures, that’s it. I’m now happy to report that my new SSD is working splendidly. 🙂

  1. I wish they would just last forever! So sad. Mine is about 4 years old now and starting to slow down. I will be happy and sad to get a new one. $$$$
